The Royal palace

I did one more extra DT-layout for Let's Get Sketchy this month. This is my interpretation of our week 3 sketch:

The photos are taken at the royal palace in Sweden and I thought it fitted perfectly with a layout in gold.

Posing

This is a layout that I made just for fun.

I have tried to get DD to look into the camera for almost eight years... without any sucsess. And now she's suddenly posing. I'm a happy scrapbooking-mother! :-)

One more time!

I made an extra DT-layout for Let's Get Sketchy this month. This is my take on our first August sketch:

The title says "One more time" and the photos are from a tivoli. I just love DD's expression!

DT layouts for July...

I don't know how I could miss it, but I forgot to show you my DT-layouts for Let's get sketchy in July.

Here is my layout for week 2:

I used some green Prima Rub-on Foil and I love the effect. I also used water color and stamps on my background.

Here are some close-ups:

Here is my DT-layout for week 4:

On this one I used Primas holographic foil. That is even more amazing. Love it!

Dance show

August challenge is up at ARTtastic. This month the inspiration piece is a wood cut by Thea Proctor. The criteria is the use of black pen on your work. How inspiring is that? I love it!

I used a black pen to draw an "explosion symbol" to highlight the photo.

I used some neon orange acrylic paint on the background to match the hoodies in the photo. Here are two close-ups:

I hope you want to join the challenge!

Thanks for looking! Have a nice day!

One crazy bunch

Let's get sketchy's second sketch for team B is up today. Here is my interpretation:

The photo shows our daughter together with two friends posing in front of an old tree. But are they posing nicely? They are one crazy bunch... as one of the stickers says... ;-)

Prima ballerina

This month ARTastic has an inspiration piece by Anna Collins. The criteria this month is Black and White plus one other colour (can be any you like). I chose the colors in the painting - neon yellow - which was quite difficult as it's hard to find embellishments in that color... Anyway, here is my interpretation:

I hope you want to join the challenge!

Ballet

Let's get sketchy's second sketch for June is up today! I created kind of a romantic layout using some photos of our daughter dancing ballet on a dansshow.

A birthday layout

Today it's time for Team B week 2 reveal at Let's Get Sketchy. This sketch was challenging for me, but I'm quite satisfied with the result.
