One more Christmas layout and my favorite 10 layouts from 2015

This layout is made for Let's get sketchy's December week 4 challenge, which is a challenge with a sketch and a mood board. I chose to mirror the sketch.

Let's get sketchy has a design team call running until December 30th. You can read more about it here.

Here is a close-up:

I have also picked my favourite 10 layouts for 2015. I have put them on a separate page that you'll find here.

Merry Chistmas, everyone! Today I show you two layouts with photos from this Chrismas. The first one is made for Berry71Bleu's December Challenge.

This is the mood board:

The second layout is made just for fun. I fell in love with these patterned papers from Kaiser Craft and they were perfect together with this photo.

Autumn colors

This layout is made for Pixels and Papers November challenge. I was inspired by the tree and the leafs on the inspiration photo. The photo I used on my layout is taken when I was out on a walk in the forest this autumn with DD and her friend, and they collected leafs. Here is my interpretation:

I used patterned papers in "autumn-leaf-colors". I also added watercolor in three different colors on the background, and stamped some leafs. Here are two close-ups:

Birthday party

I love sketches at the moment. And I love Let's get sketchy as you have a new sketch every week! I am entering this layout into Novermber week 3:

I added acrylic paint with a spatula. I also splashed on acrylic paint and mist. Here are two close-ups:

The small balloons are confetti used on the party table. :-)

3 Halloween layouts

Halloween is over and we are looking forward to Christmas. But as an scrapbooker you are either late - or you are scrapping last years photoes. I created three layouts with this years photos.

The first one is my favorite. It is made for a sketch challenge at Let's get sketchy (week 2). The photo shows me and our daughter dressed as vampyres. We have blood in the corners of the mouth, but unfortunately it is not visible in the photo.

I added some dripping blod (red water color), black water color, stamped black branches and black splashes on the background. Here are two close ups:

This is the second layout:

I added black water colour on the background and splashed purple, orange and green acrylic paint.

And the third one:

These photos are taken on a ghost walk. I read a tip in a newspaper that you should take halloween phots without a flash to get a spooky feeling. I tried that, and I like it. The photoes are very blurred but our little girls looks like ghosts, and that is spooky. :-)

On the background I added black water colour and splashed some mist. Here is a close-up:

Flowers at ARTastic

In ARTastics November challenge the criteria is flowers. I love flowers, so of course I loved that. You should also be inspired by a painting by Emma Uber. This is my interpretation:

And the inspiration painting:

I made some white flowers using gesso and a stencil, and stamped black flowers on the background. I also used three different patterned papers with flowers, and some flower rub- ons. Here are two close-ups:

Thanks for looking! Don't forget to pop over at ARTastic and have a look at the rest of the DT's awesome inspration.

Favorite playground

This layout was made for a challenge that I wanted to join, but due to computer problems I missed the deadline. But now my computer works again, and I show the layout anyway. I kind of like the childish feeling in it.

To personalize the background I added watercolour, ink on a template, splashed acrylic paint in different colours and stamped in different colours. Here are two close-ups:

Thanks you for dropping by! I love to hear from you! Take care!

Gardening enthusiasts

I have had troble with my internet connection, and I have not been able to publish or comment. But now it´s solved I am finally able to publish my October DT-layout for ARTastic. A bit late, but there is still a couple of days left if you want to join in. This month you should be inspired by a painting by E Phillips Fox. The criteria is vintage style.

I never create in a vintage style so this was a challenge for me. But I love challenges and here is my interpretation:

Summer layouts for ARTastic

This month I did two DT-layouts for ARTastic's. I have a lot of photos from last summer that I need to scrap. (Who wants to scrap with summer papers at Christmas time?) If you are in the same situation I hope you join in at our September challenge! CRITERIA is a free scrap (anything goes) but you should tell what inspired you. In both cases I was inspired by the colours and the sea. Here is the first of the layouts:

And the inspiration painting by William Knox:

 And some close-ups:

(On this one I stamped splashes in different blue shades on the background.)

Here is the second one:

And one more close-up:

(On this one I added blue watercolour and splashed blue mist on the background.)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice day!

A lot of fun

This is a page that I did just for fun. And I had a lot of fun doing it!

I added green water colour on the background and splashed on a lot of acrylic paint.

I thought a lot of bright colours was perfect to highlight these funny photos of DD and DH.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a nice day!
